Brookfield Epoxy Flooring is an epoxy flooring and concrete coating company based in Brookfield, WI, with more than 20 years of experience on garage, basement, commercial and industrial floors. We work in homes, shops, offices, restaurants and warehouses across Waukesha and Milwaukee counties.
Our work starts with the concrete, not the color chart. Most of the failed floors we are asked to fix were decided by what happened, or did not happen, to the slab before the first coat. That is where we put our effort.
Our Approach

Every slab we coat is opened mechanically with a diamond grinder or a shot blaster, and we do not acid etch. Moisture testing is written into the scope as its own line on a basement or a garage, because Wisconsin does not require a vapor retarder under an unconditioned attached garage and a dry-looking floor is not always a dry one. We read the cracks, joints and any old coating before quoting, and when a slab needs repair or replacement before it can be coated, we say so.
Our proposals name the product, the system build and the finished thickness, so what was quoted can be checked against what went down. Every home job gets a written contract with the products and any warranty in it before a deposit is taken, and warranty exclusions are read out before the job is sold, with moisture from below named first. We schedule curing by slab temperature and dew point rather than the calendar, and when an unheated garage has to wait for spring, we tell you. We will not sell a coating as radon reduction or as a fix for water coming up through a slab.
On commercial jobs, we plan around the hours a building has to stay open, including overnight and weekend windows. Joints in shops, showrooms and warehouses are filled with a semirigid filler before coating, restaurant floors are planned around Waukesha County Environmental Health plan review, and grinding dust and slurry are collected on site rather than washed into a floor drain or storm sewer. Before scheduling, we ask City of Brookfield Inspection Services or the village inspector whether a job needs a permit.
What We Do
We install epoxy garage floors, flake and metallic epoxy floors, polyaspartic floor coatings, basement floor epoxy and polished concrete for homeowners. For businesses, we install commercial, industrial and commercial kitchen flooring, and ESD flooring for electronics and data spaces. We also provide concrete grinding and concrete floor repair, both as part of our own systems and as preparation for other trades. If you have a floor in mind, or a slab you are not sure about, contact us for a free estimate and an honest read of the concrete.
